SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2012    12:30 P.M.
Town of Mountain Office
13503 Weller Road, Mountain, WI  54149

The Election Inspectors/Board of Canvassers for the Town of Mountain met at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 6, 2012 to review and tally Election Day results.

2011 Act 75 provides that absentee ballots may be counted if postmarked no later than Election Day and received no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Friday following the election.  Additionally, 2011 Act 23 provides that voters who cast provisional ballots may provide whatever documentation is required no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Friday after the election in order for their provisional ballot to be counted.

2011 Act 75 assigns the responsibility of processing and counting late-arriving absentee ballots and eligible provisional ballots to the Municipal Clerks, or Executive Directors, and the Municipal Board of Canvassers.

The Town of Mountain had one (1) absentee ballot that was not returned by Election Day.  Thus, the Municipal Board of Canvassers will reconvene at the above date, time, and location to process and count any late-arriving absentee ballots for the votes cast in the November 6, 2012 Election.

The public is welcome to attend.
