TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BUDGET WORKSHOP OCTOBER 4, 2011
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 6:05 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Chairman Hull, Sup. Uecke and Clerk Kauzlaric present as well as 3 in attendance, Sup. Wirth was absent.
Elsie Jensen of the Mountain Historical Society attended with a list of upcoming projects that they would like worked on. Ann Ammerman, Director of the Suring Area Public Library attended with their 2011 Annual Report to Municipalities and 2012 Budget; Ann also provided information on past and upcoming community events. Al Lauterborn of the Chute Lake Protection and Rehab District attended with a letter informing the Town Board of the District’s decision to provide the Town of Mountain $500 towards the expenses to establish the Gillett Joint Municipal Court system, which would help to enforce our “No Wake” Ordinances; also a request for the Town of Mountain to match their $500 donation to the Sheriff’s Department.
A letter was received from Lakes County Public Library with their budget request.
Next Budget Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, October 11th immediately following the Town Board Meeting.
Motion to adjourn by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried. Time is 6:55 p.m.
