Towns of Riverview, Doty and Mountain
Annual Meeting of the Cemetery Committee

May 6, 2013

The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm at the Mountain Town Office by Chairman Tony Uecke (Mountain). Paige Ronski (Doty) is present with no representation from Riverview. Sexton John Vandenlangenberg also present. Mountain Deputy Clerk, Laura Anderson present to record minutes.

Motion to approve the agenda as posted April 22, 2013 by Uecke, Seconded by Ronski. Motion Carried.

Motion to approve the minutes from February 2nd, 2013 by Uecke, seconded by Ronski. Motion Carried. Pledge of Allegiance is said.

The committee revisited old business. The new mower has been delivered and is in working order. The committee is still looking at possible prospects for more land. No motions are entertained.

Vandenlangenberg gave the Sexton’s report. It was a very busy Winter which makes for a lot of Summer maintenance. He is also looking at the options available for ordering black dirt for the year. He stated there are 3 cremations pending. Vandenlangenberg requested help to do a physical inventory of the cemetery to help get records in order. Discussion of rotting sheds led to the committee looking for building options to have available come budget time.

New business brought a Motion by Uecke to have a portion of Section E left for use of emergency graves. Seconded by Ronski. Motion Carried.

Motion to adjourn by Vandenlangenberg, seconded by Ronski. Motion carried. Time is 3:50pm.
