TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
ELECTION NOTICE

BOARD OF CANVASSERS
Town of Mountain Office
13503 Weller Road, Mountain, WI

FRIDAY, APRIL 10TH, 2015 – 5:30 PM

MINUTES

The Election Inspectors/Board of Canvassers for the Town of Mountain met at 8:00 PM on Election Day, April 7, 2015 to review and tally Election Day results.

2011 Act 75 provides that absentee ballots may be counted if postmarked no later than Election Day and received no later than 4:00 PM on the Friday following the election. Additionally, 2011 Act 23 provides that voters who cast provisional ballots may provide whatever documentation is required no later than 4:00 PM on the Friday after the election in order for their provisional ballot to be counted.

The Town of Mountain had six (6) ballots that were not returned by Election Day. Thus, the Board of Canvassers reconvened at the above date, time, and location to process and count any late-arriving absentee ballots for the votes cast in the April 7, 2015 Election.

The Municipal Board of Canvassers reconvened at 5:30 PM. The Municipal Board of Canvassers consisted of Chief Inspector-Christine Ermis, and Election Inspectors-Rhonda Scrovonski and John Scrovonski. The Municipal Clerk reported that three (3) of the six (6) outstanding absentee ballots were returned by the 4:00 PM deadline, the Friday after the election. There were no provisional ballots cast on Election Day, therefore being none to count. The Municipal Board of Canvassers completed the proper paperwork and adjourned at 6:30 PM.

Respectfully submitted,
