TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING AUGUST 13, 2014
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Hull, Uecke, Lauterborn and Kauzlaric present, as well as 20 in attendance. The agenda was posted on August 12, 2014. Motion to approve the Agenda by Lauterborn. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review. Motion to approve Treasurer’s report by Hull. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Town Board meeting held July 8, 2014 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Lauterborn. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Board of Review meeting held August 7, 2014 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Uecke. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments – none at this time.
Disbursements were available for all to review; checks #21763 to and including #21810 for disbursement of $38,723.26, which includes auto withdrawal of payroll taxes. Motion to approve by Lauterborn. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Ambulance Report – Chairman Hull stated that meeting is next week. No motions are entertained.
Fire Department Report – report given by Sup. Uecke stating there were a couple calls last month.
– Oconto County Functional Collaboration Agreement – Town Board reviewed proposed changes made to Agreement; these changes were satisfactory to Chris at Mountain Ambulance Service. Motion to approve with corrections by Lauterborn. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Humane Officer Report is given by Humane Officer Bubb with 6 calls for the month of July. No motions are entertained.
Cemetery Report – Sup. Uecke had nothing to report. No motions are entertained.
Planning Commission Report – No Meeting
6 Town Board Meeting Discussions – Chairman Hull reviewed minutes received from 6 Town Board meeting regarding Northern Satellite Office; next meeting date not set at this time. No motions are entertained.
Communication File is reviewed and list is signed.
Operator’s License – Wilson – application available for review. Motion to accept by Hull. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Municipal Court Agreement Amendment – Chairman Hull discussed Amendments proposed for current changes. Motion that we accept the amended Municipal Court Agreement by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
N. Anderson Lake Assessor’s Plat Cost Allocation – Chairman Hull discussed options for dividing costs associated with the Assessor’s Plat for N. Anderson Lake area; public comments/concerns included property previously surveyed and need to completed again, question of which property owner had issue, new corner stakes are on some properties; cost allocation fairly, Oconto County and/or Town contribution to cost, discussion in past with Oconto County Zoning regarding certified survey’s when property sells, any grants or aid to assist with cost; past Assessor Plat’s for Town cost was divided equally by parcels; other Towns also have divided cost among parcels equally. Motion that we do the Assessor Plat cost for N. Anderson Lake equally by parcels by Uecke. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Hearing of the People brought about concerns relating to citizen attendance of last 6 Town Board meeting and strongly encourages others to participate; Sup. Uecke stated appreciation to property owners of N. Anderson Lake Assessor’s Plat for attendance and comments.
