TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING May 12, 2015
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Hull, Ustianowski, Lauterborn and Kauzlaric present, as well as 14 in attendance. The agenda was posted on May 11, 2015. Motion to approve Agenda by Lauterborn. Seconded by Ustianowski. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review. Motion to approve Treasurer’s report by Hull. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Town Board meeting held April 14, 2015 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Lauterborn. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Special Town Board meeting held May 5, 2015 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Ustianowski. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments – none at this time.
Disbursements were available for all to review; checks #22335 to and including #22388 for disbursement of $91,776.37, which includes auto withdrawal of payroll taxes and First Merit Loan payments; plus late check #22389 in the amount of $650.00 for a total disbursement of $92,426.37. Motion to approve disbursements by Hull. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Ambulance Report – Commissioner’s meeting to be held Thursday, May 21st. No motions are entertained.
Fire Department Report – report given by FD Member Uecke with 1 live burn training; 1 call that was cancelled. No motions are entertained.
Humane Officer Report is given by Humane Officer LaLuzerne with two calls in April. No motions are entertained.
Cemetery Report – Sup. Ustianowski stating Annual Meeting was held May 4th. No motions are entertained.
Planning Commission Report –
– Conditional Use Application – WICO (Evergreen Park) – Chairman Hull stated Planning Commission approved application; photos available for their review of mobile home requested to be moved in. Motion to approve by Lauterborn. Seconded by Ustianowski. Motion carried.
– Petition for Zoning Amendment – Lesczykowski – Chairman Hull reviewed discussion of Planning Commission with approval contingent on indoor boarding at night of dogs being trained. Motion to approve by Ustianowski. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
6 Town Board Meeting Discussions – Former Sup. Uecke gave report from his attendance at the April 15th meeting with discussions relating to the recent amendments to Oconto County’s Zoning Ordinance and DNR Boat Patrol Grant program. Next meeting will be June 30th 6:30 p.m. at Lakewood Town Hall. No motions are entertained.
Communication File is reviewed and list is signed.
Town Website – New website design with updates/changes reviewed by Town Board. Motion to approve by Lauterborn. Seconded by Ustianowski. Motion carried.
Ordinance #02-2015 – Alternate Members for Board of Review – Ordinance lists Floyd Schmidt and Jim Hertzberg as alternate members for Board of Review. Roll call vote taken for acceptance – Lauterborn-Aye; Ustianowski-Aye; Hull-Aye. Ordinance passed.
Oconto County Recycling Program Questionnaire – Town Board Members reviewed, discussed and answered questionnaire received by Oconto County. Motion to accept as completed by Hull. Seconded by Ustianowski. Motion carried.
Recycle Center – Sup. Ustianowski discussed possible fees added for larger items, building materials and/or trailer loads that fill a larger portion of the dumpster as some surrounding towns have in place; discussion to request information from Town’s within Oconto County for any additional fees charged.
