TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING JANUARY 12, 2010
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 8:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with all members present as well as 9 in attendance. The agenda was posted on January 10, 2010. Motion to approve the agenda by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review. Motion to accept by Wirth. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Town Board meeting December 8, 2009 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments are required: Expenditures: Legislative -$2,746.98, Solid Waste +$1,293.64, Animal Control +$498.44, Cemetery +$34.34, Tax Over/refunds +$920.56. Motion by Wirth. Seconded by Hull. Motion Carried.
Disbursements were available for all to review check #18479 to and including #18543 for a total of $926,535.48. Motion to approve the bills by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Ambulance Report – no meeting. No motions are entertained.
Fire Department Report was given by Asst. Chief Wirth – no fire calls; 2 meetings. No motions are entertained.
Humane Officer Report is given by Rzepka, with 6 calls researched; received his re-certification for the next 2 years. No motions are entertained.
Cemetery Report – no new items. No motions are entertained.
Planning Commission Report – update given on 2 ATV routes received
Communication File is reviewed and list is signed with addition made to list by Wirth.
Special Gathering License Application-Mtn Fire Dept Auxiliary Feb. 2010 – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Special Gathering License Application-MABA Feb. 2010 – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Fire Department Application-Wescott – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Fire Department Application-Schelk – Motion to approve by Hull. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Fire Department Application-Tachick – discussion regarding age requirements per state of 17 years. Motion to accept by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried.
Fire Department change in frequency of Payroll Discussion – discussed need for agreement with each volunteer Firefighter to be paid less than monthly. Tabled until next month’s meeting to review with Fire Department.
Credit Card for Fuel purchases Discussion – discussed need to purchase fuel after hours. Motion to apply for Shell credit card by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion Carried.
6 Town Board Ordinance for Municipal Court Review – reviewed possible Ordinance drafted by 6 Town Board Clerk Uhlenbrauck. Motion to approve the draft of 6 Town Ordinance by Wirth. Seconded by Hull
Hearing of the People – brought concerns regarding roads not being plowed; question regarding road budget figures for 2009; snow plow bill from David Wirth; dry hydrant on Church Road; mileage for Sup. Wirth
