 Meeting of the 3 Towns – Doty, Mountain & Riverview

 Doty Town Hall – Wednesday, May 16, 7:00 p.m.

The Town Boards of Doty, Mountain & Riverview will be meeting on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012  at 7:00 p.m. at the Doty Town Hall (14899 County Road T, Mountain, WI 54149).

Each of the Towns’ Board members are invited to the table.  This is one is a series of meetings to examine and consider changes to the Intergovernmental Agreement for Emergency Services; and to discuss issues and concerns as they relate to the Agreement.  The suggestions, dialogue and discussion may lead to action.

AGENDA

  1. Invocation and call to order. [Dick Kendall, Chairman – Town of Doty].
  2. Commence open session with the Pledge of Allegiance.
  3. Roll call of the Towns.
  4. Review and approve the meeting minutes from the Wed., April 18th meeting.
  5. Discuss items on tonight’s agenda which include:
    a.     Consideration of recommendations made by the MAS Commissioners to the Intergovernmental Agreement (at the meeting held on Thursday, May 10).

NOTE: Section 6.2 Disclaimer and formula to be brought to an attorney for their overview along with any other agreed upon changes prior to our next meeting.

           Question: Towns to share equally in the cost of the legal opinion?

b.    Two statutes 60.40 and 65.90…do they have impact on the validity of the agreement approved back in 2003?

c.     Sale of 1978 rescue vehicle
i.      Monies to FOMAS?
ii.      Decisions made by Town Boards in Mountain and Doty?

Town representatives are encourage to bring their previous materials (agreements, formula proposals, minutes of recent meetings and calendars for scheduling future meetings.

6.     Public Comment.
7.     Establish next meeting date, time and place.
8.    Adjournment
