TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING DECEMBER 14, 2010
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with all members present as well as 4 in attendance. The agenda was posted on December 13, 2010. Motion to amend agenda to add Cigarette License Application to #15 by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried. Motion to approve the Amended agenda by Wirth. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review. Motion to accept it by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Town Board meeting held November 9, 2010 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Wirth. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments – none at this time.
Disbursements were available for all to review; check #19100 to and including #19147 for $34,438.18. Motion to approve the bills by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried.
Ambulance Report – No meeting until February. No motions are entertained.
Fire Department Report was given by Asst. Chief Wirth – meeting and Santa Clause at Fire station. No motions are entertained.
Humane Officer Report is given by Clerk Kauzlaric, with 7 calls researched. No motions are entertained.
Cemetery Report – no report. No motions are entertained.
Planning Commission Report –
– Conditional Use Application-Randall Ohlrich: Motion to appove by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Communication File is reviewed and list is signed.
Operator’s License-Christopher Kaminski – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Operator’s License-Randolph Kaminski – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Operator’s License-Stacey Bisenius – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Liquor License Application – Kitty’s Gill & Bar (Gary Kaminski) – email received from Tammy Kalista releasing her liquor license from the premises. Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Cigarette License Application-Kitty’s Grill & Bar (Gary Kaminski) – Motion to approve by Wirth. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Recreational Town Road Usage Application Fee Discussion – board discussed options to bill per route, road, number of mailings. Motion to revise the application fee for Recreational Town Road Usage to $35.00 for initial application, covering up to 25 mailings with each additional mailing after that for $1.00 each by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried.
Resolution #03-2010 – Creation of Intergovernmental Joint Municipal Court – Sup. Uecke explained 6 Town Board findings/actions on municipal court; City of Gillett opened court; Town Board has authority to issue citations; $200-$1,000 as possible charges (these can be figured into court fines for citations). Motion to sign resolution by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried.
Resolution #04-2010 – Resolution to Abandon & Sell Public Lake Access on Chute Pond –Chairman Hull explained this is next step in order to possibly sell property; DNR will hold Public Hearing after receipt of Resolution. Motion to sign Resolution to Abandon & Sell Public Lake Access on Chute Pond by Uecke. Seconded by Wirth. Motion carried.
Hearing of the People – Chairman Hull mentioned copy of letter available which was received from Oconto County Recycling regarding new changes for Waste Oil disposal; issues included question regarding PC Member still attend opening of surveys for Recreational Road Usage, requirement of more detailed map of route; street light on Church and County Road W still out; Fire Department parking lot plowing; after Thanksgiving snow storm McComb Lake road not plowed; plowing on Stone Quarry Road; how selection of Town Board responsibilities are done; any changes on status of wayside on Hwy 32/64; what percentage of salt is on early order.
