TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING SEPTEMBER 6, 2016
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Herman at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Hull, Schmidt, Hertzberg, and Herman present as well as 4 in attendance; Maletzke absent. The agenda was posted on September 2, 2016. Motion to approve agenda by Hull. Seconded by Schmidt. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting August 2, 2016 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Herman. Seconded by Hertzberg. Motion carried.
Conditional Use Application – WICO Inc. – application and photos were available for review; Stanley was available to answer questions regarding 1995 Skyline mobile home proposed for site #62. Motion that we accept the Conditional Use Permit by Hertzberg. Seconded by Schmidt. Motion carried. Recommendation to Town Board.
Rezone Application – Business Park Lot #10 – application and business plan were available for review; owners were available to answer questions regarding rezone to General Commercial; discussion relating to residence in Industrial Park; request for consideration as realtor advertised as ½ residence and ½ business; also they would only reside here in warmer months; conditional use permit would be required if rezone is approved; conditions that property not have residence if sold by current owners. Motion that they rezone to General Commercial; and as long as there business is there they can stay in half as residence; if there business ends then they can no longer live there; and when they come to sell it; it would have to return to Industrial with no residence by Schmidt. Seconded by Herman. 3-Aye; 1-Nay. Motion carried. Recommendation to Town Board.
Town Ordinance Review/Discussion – Reviewed Ordinances in Fire Dept, Water, and Zoning; updates discussed will be typed up and reviewed at future meeting; Fire Chief Harkema provided suggestions for Fire Department ordinances; have items with Water ordinances that will be checked into.
