TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 28, 2014
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Hull, Uecke (by teleconference) and Kauzlaric present, as well as 0 in attendance; Lauterborn absent. The agenda was posted on October 27, 2014. Motion to approve the Agenda by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Resolution #02-2014 – Clerk Kauzlaric presented information provided from First Merit Bank regarding interest paid for monthly vs. annual re-payment of note; interest rates collected were higher than First Merit Bank offering; Town Board discussed note amount, interest rate, and re-payment plans. Motion to accept Resolution #02-2014 on $40,000 with a monthly payback with $1,257 total interest at 3.00% interest for 2 year note by Hull. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Recycle Center Hours of Operation – Town Board discussed lighting issues with Wednesday summer evening hours; discussed possible shift of summer/winter hours from current (summer=May 1 – November 30; winter=December 1 – April 30). Motion that we shift hours at the Recycling Center so that our summer hours reflect April 1 to October 1, with our Wednesday day hours to evening in summer by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
